So, had issues with the Alphafly on the long run, so redirected shoes for 4mm and consistency. Testing: Nike Alphafly - one 13 mile run. Caused some calf issues. Likely the 4mm drop. Had to buy a 4mm drop to prepare. Will re-try after some miles on Kinvara. Picked up a 2nd (in black) as the primary race shoe. The white will be used for training. Salomon Sense Ride 2 - Got from ebay. Firmer than the Pegasus Trail (in a good way). Need to actually run in them now. Like the cushion. Saucony Kinvara 11- Purchased for training of 4mm. Not as bouncy as other shoes, but not too bad. Firm, but cushioned. In Rotation: Atryeu - Like the shoe, but limited bounce. Asics Novablast - Very bouncy, but also a bit sinky. Rotate with 1080 v10.
